Ginny Scholtes has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2012 when they were a Resident Assistant and Studio Operator for Stanford University and Stanford Center for Professional Development. In 2014, they were a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court, Central District of California. From 2015-2016, they were a Summer Associate and Associate for Covington & Burling LLP. In 2018, they opened their own solo practice and was a volunteer Sexual Assault Counselor for Bay Area Women Against Rape (BAWAR). In the same year, they also became Director & Corporate Secretary for A Touch of Hope Chiropractic & Holistic Services, a California non-profit organization. Finally, in 2019, they were Commercial & Product Counsel and Associate Counsel for Invitae. In 2022, they will become Senior Corporate Counsel for Science Exchange.
Ginny Scholtes earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law in 2016, with a focus in Intellectual Property Law. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) with Honors from Stanford University in 2013, with a focus in Human Biology.
