Melissa Stevens, PhD, is a seasoned professional in program development, evaluation, and capacity-building for nonprofits, currently serving as Principal at CultureSnap Consulting LLC since March 2022. In addition to this role, Melissa is an Evaluation Consultant for the Science History Institute, managing a two-year evaluation project for a PEW-funded museum exhibit, and serves as Director of Operations (part-time) for the Global Water Alliance, planning annual conferences and overseeing operations. As an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware and the University of Maryland, Melissa contributes to academic instruction while also conducting significant research in cultural tourism programs, funded by the National Science Foundation. With a robust educational background in cultural anthropology, Melissa holds a PhD from the University of Maryland, alongside an MA in Applied Anthropology and a BA in Sociology.
