Florian Neubauer

Florian Neubauer is an experienced researcher currently serving at the RWI - Leibniz Institute for Economic Research since May 2021 and as a Consultant for Impact Evaluation at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) since December 2023. Prior roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, and various positions focusing on agricultural development, climate change adaptation, and economic affairs at organizations such as Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), and the United Nations. Florian Neubauer holds a PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut and advanced degrees in Development Economics and Economics/Political Science from the University of Göttingen and Leuphana University of Lüneburg, respectively.
