James Moore has a diverse range of work experience in the field of technology. James started their career in 1995 as the Chief Technology Officer at the Society for Science and the Public, where they were responsible for managing servers, network configuration, software applications, and workstations. James also oversaw the migration to a hosted email solution and configured SharePoint Foundation server.

In 2005, James worked as a Consultant at Carmen Group, managing the network infrastructure and training in-house staff to support workstations. James also configured security settings for switches and firewalls.

In the same year, they were also a Consultant at the Bush-Katrina Fund, where they converted office space into a private network infrastructure. James handled the cabling of Ethernet and phone lines and provided remote and on-site technical support to workstations.
