Ricardo Gortaire

Ricardo G. serves as the IT Manager at the Society for Science since May 2017, overseeing IT networking, security infrastructure, and operations both on-premise and in the cloud. Previously, Ricardo held roles such as IT Senior Specialist and IT Specialist within the same organization, managing technical support for major science competitions and providing extensive network management and maintenance. Additional experience includes a tenure as Volunteer IT and Database Manager at the Conflict Resolution Center of Montgomery County, and freelance work as an IT Field Technician. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Project Management from Georgetown University, a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Maryland, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Business Administration from Montgomery College.
