Emmanuel Odame

Emmanuel Odame is an experienced researcher currently serving as an Expert at BioExpert Network since July 2023, where expertise is leveraged to support startups and companies. Emmanuel is also a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota's JUNGE LAB, focusing on neurovascular interactions and retinal angiogenesis, alongside previous rotational roles in various labs at the university, including studies on RNA-binding proteins and unconventional myosins. Emmanuel held the position of Vice President at NUGS-China Chengdu chapter, fostering connections among Ghanaian students and universities. Previous research experience includes exploring the roles of CirRNAs and miRNAs in skeletal muscle myogenesis as an Associate Researcher in Sichuan Province and assisting in teaching and research at different educational institutions in Ghana. Emmanuel's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Cellular Developmental Biology and Genetics from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Animal Breeding Genetics and Reproduction from Sichuan Agricultural University.
