Steven Cevaer

Steven Cevaer is an experienced mechanical engineer currently working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Science and Technology Corporation (STC) since June 2023. Previously, Steven held a similar role at Space Systems from February to May 2023, where responsibilities included structural and vibration analyses on aircraft-mounted optical instrumentation and the development of instrument hardware using Creo and Windchill. At GW Lisk from June 2018 to July 2022, Steven developed custom LVDT position sensors for aerospace applications and performed electromagnetic FEA simulations using ANSYS Maxwell. Earlier experience includes roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer at PCB Piezotronics, where development of piezoelectric and MEMS-based accelerometers occurred, and as a Research Associate at Clarkson University. Steven began a career in manufacturing as a Machinist/Machine Builder at Voss Manufacturing Inc. from April 2008 to August 2012 while pursuing vocational training. Steven holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University.
