Julien Damon is a distinguished academic and expert in social sciences, currently serving as an instructor responsible for the "villes et habitants" module at École des Ponts ParisTech since September 2023. As the editor-in-chief of the journal Constructif at the Fédération Française du Bâtiment since January 2018, Julien also contributes as a columnist and editorialist for Le Point and Les Echos. Additionally, since 2013, Julien has held the position of scientific advisor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Sécurité sociale. An associate professor at Sciences Po since 2002, Julien has previously held significant roles such as the general rapporteur for the Grenelle de l’insertion and head of the social questions service at the Centre d'analyse stratégique. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Social Sciences from Université Paris-Sorbonne, a Master's in Management and Public Action from ESCP Business School, and an habilitation to direct research in sociology from Sciences Po.
