Alissa Schutte is a Field Application Scientist at SCIENION since May 2022. Prior to this role, Alissa worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Mayo Clinic under Dr. Elizabeth Jacobsen from February 2021 to May 2022. Alissa's academic journey includes a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Arizona State University, completed in December 2020, where research was conducted under Dr. Alan Rawls and Dr. Jurgen Gadau. Alissa began an academic career at Arizona State University as an Undergraduate Researcher in 2012, working with Dr. Marco Mangone at the Center for Personalized Diagnostics, The Biodesign Institute. Alissa holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University, earned in 2013.
