Julie Sanders is an experienced professional currently serving as an Executive Committee Member at EEMGS NI since December 2023. As a PhD student at Sciensano since September 2021, Julie is involved in a joint research project focused on the characterization and quantitative genotoxicity assessment of mycotoxin mixtures in food and feed. Previously, Julie completed a research internship at Sciensano, conducting a master's thesis on aflatoxin B1 and its effects in various in vitro genotoxicity tests. Additional experiences include a pharmacy internship at Apotheek Roggen, event coordination at Brussels Law School Consultancy vzw, and leadership roles within the Farmaceutische Kring V.U.B. Julie holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in Drug Development from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
