Ashan de Silva

Ashan De Silva has a diverse work experience across various companies and industries. Ashan currently serves as the Head Of Ops / Strategic Partnerships at Scienter Technologies (Pte) Ltd since January 2021. In addition, they are the Director at Meta Labs from April 2023.

Previously, Ashan held the position of Director at QUANBY since January 2019. Ashan joined Zilingo in September 2019 as the Head of PMO, where they managed the change management process and transition of the PMO post-acquisition. Ashan also served as a Senior Project Manager at Zilingo from June 2018 to August 2019.

Before joining Zilingo, Ashan worked at MAS Holdings as a Project Manager from June 2015 to May 2018. In this role, they ensured projects were delivered on-time, within scope, and budget while driving the project team.

Ashan started their career at Epic Lanka (Pvt) Ltd as a Business Analyst / Project Coordinator from September 2012 to May 2015. Ashan contributed to various projects in this role, including the Sri Lanka Biometric Project and Agent Banking Solution.

Prior to that, they were a Management Trainee at Asia Capital PLC from June 2011 to June 2012, where they set up a new independent office and analyzed IT industry trends. Ashan also worked as a Management Trainee at Goldi Sands Hotel from December 2009 to December 2010, gaining experience in various departments and shadowing the General Manager.

Ashan De Silva attended Gateway College from 2006 to 2011. After completing their secondary education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Business Information Technology at Staffordshire University from 2011 to 2013. In 2015 to 2016, they furthered their education at Asia e University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Project Management. Continuing their educational journey, Ashan attended Cardiff Metropolitan University from 2017 to 2018, specializing in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law, and earning a Master of Laws degree in International Business.
