Paul Avinger

Paul Avinger has extensive experience in the field of operations and technical support within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as District Operation Support at Scientific Drilling since April 2013, Paul leads technicians and operators in troubleshooting downhole tools and provides expertise in best practices. Previously, Paul held the position of Lead MWD/LWD Field Operator, managing well site survey equipment and ensuring data quality. Prior to Scientific Drilling, Paul worked as a Senior Field Service Technician at National Oilwell Varco, specializing in the installation and repair of instrumentation and monitoring systems. Paul also brings significant experience as a Lead Aircraft Electrical Mechanic for a government contractor, focusing on aviation electrical and avionics systems, and served in the U.S. Army as an Avionics Shop Supervisor and trainer for various rotary aircraft.
