Syed Shakir is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in product development and project management. Currently serving as the LWD Technical Product Champion and Senior Electrical Engineer at Scientific Drilling since November 2009, Syed leads the project for the Propagation Resistivity Tool, which was initially at the breadboard stage upon joining. Prior experience includes a role as Product Development Engineer at Applied Technologies Associates in 2009 and a tenure as Electrical Engineer III at Schlumberger from November 1997 to November 2009. Syed holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State University, completed in 1996.
