Wayne Slocum

Wayne Slocum currently serves as the Director at Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) since August 2010, following a role as the Deputy Product Director for Maritime Radios at JPEO JTRS, where leadership involved a cross-functional team in developing a Software Defined Radio for military applications. Prior to SRC, Wayne accumulated significant experience at NAVWAR from 2002 to 2010, holding multiple key positions, including Chief Engineer for the Navy's OCONUS Network and Assistant Program Manager for Crypto Modernization and Cross Domain Solutions, contributing to the installation of C4I systems on numerous vessels. Earlier in their career, Wayne worked as a J6 Systems Engineer at the Joint Information Operation Center, providing support to various combatant commands, and directed research on cyber systems at the Naval Postgraduate School. Wayne's military background includes serving as a Naval Flight Officer in the US Navy from 1989 to 1997, amassing over 2,500 flight hours. Educational accomplishments include a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and other degrees in Industrial Technology and Aeronautical Operations.
