Dr. Sunny Duttagupta

Dr. Sunny Duttagupta has extensive work experience in various roles within the publishing and healthcare industry. Dr. Sunny currently serves as the Publishing Director at Scientific Scholar since 2022. Previously, they worked at Thieme Group from 2017 to 2022, starting as a Senior Acquisition Editor and later becoming an Executive Editor. In these roles, they were responsible for business and editorial development, strategic promotions, and managing editorial boards. Prior to that, Dr. Duttagupta worked at Wolters Kluwer | Health, Learning, Research & Practice from 2013 to 2016, holding positions as a Senior Managing Editor and Managing Editor. Dr. Sunny also has experience as a Clinical Research Project Analyst at Fortis Healthcare in 2013 and as an Independent Pharmaceutical Consultant at Bridge Medical Consulting Ltd in 2013. Additionally, Dr. Duttagupta worked as a Project Coordinator/Consultant Faculty at CareerOrbits ePortals Pvt. Ltd from 2012 to 2013. Dr. Sunny'searlier work experience includes serving as a University employee and Research Scholar at the University of Salzburg and Uniklink Köln from 2008 to 2012, where they were involved in international collaborations and research presentations.

Dr. Sunny Duttagupta pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Medicine from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their academic journey at the Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg. There, between 2008 and 2012, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Biology, specializing in Cytokine signaling.
