Darian Garcia

Darian Garcia, MBA, serves as a Principal Software Engineer at Scientific Systems, focusing on deploying machine learning models for space satellites since October 2023. Previously, Darian held the same title at Capital One, where solutions for credit risk were developed, saving millions. Prior experience includes contributions to BiBERT, a multilingual large language model at CACI International Inc., and roles in academia as a Software Teaching Fellow at Harvard University and a Machine Learning Researcher at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Additional experience includes software engineering in test automation at ThreatQuotient and management of multi-million dollar facilities at American Pool. Darian holds a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology and graduate coursework in coding at Harvard University.
