Nicola Rustignoli

Nicola Rustignoli serves as co-CEO at SCION Association since October 2022, focusing on the technical community within the IETF. Previously, Nicola worked as a Research Assistant at ETH Zürich from April 2021 to September 2022, bridging gaps between academia and industry while promoting the adoption of SCION Internet technologies. Nicola's experience includes serving as a Technical Account Manager at Open Systems from March 2018 to January 2021, where design and implementation of network and cloud security solutions were executed for a global clientele. Additional roles include a Security Engineer position at ETH Zürich, an R&D intern at Swisscom, and a Data Analytics Intern at the Nexa Center for Internet & Society. Nicola holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and IT from ETH Zürich, a degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, and has pursued studies in Information Technology Engineering at Tongji University.
