Shavina Chau

Shavina Chau is a software engineer and the co-founder of Sciontia. Shavina has experience working in low-code app building platforms and has deployed serverless infrastructure with AWS Lambda, APIGateway, and DynamoDB. Chau has also constructed back-end APIs using TypeScript, Javascript, and Node.js. In addition, they have utilized the Jest testing framework to verify code correctness, security, and error-handling. Furthermore, Chau has set up continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows to maintain the high quality of production environments. Additionally, they have built web app front-end UI and features with TypeScript and React for customers to view and interact with their data. Lastly, Chau has experience collaborating with team members in strategic planning and product development, from idea to working prototype.

Shavina Chau has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Comparative Media Studies from the same school.
