Emily Kerwin

Emily Kerwin has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Emily started their career as a Senior Accountant at O'Connor & Drew, P.C. in September 2011 and was promoted to Audit Supervisor in June 2016. At O'Connor & Drew, P.C., Emily was involved in planning and executing audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in various industries.

In 2019, Emily joined KPMG as a Senior Associate. Emily'sresponsibilities included planning and supervising GAAP financial statement audit engagements for healthcare, not-for-profit, higher education, and governmental entities. Emily also provided clients with financial reporting guidance and supervised, trained, and evaluated staff on engagement teams.

From May 2020 to May 2023, Emily worked as the Chief Financial Officer at INTERNATIONAL CARS LTD. As CFO, they operated six franchised automobile dealerships and an independent automobile auction. Emily assessed and evaluated the financial performance of the organization and provided analysis for both short-term and long-term growth opportunities.

In 2023, Emily will join Scipher Medicine as a Financial Controller.

Emily Kerwin received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Stonehill College, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. Later, in 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Accounting at Northeastern University.
