Mehran Moradi Spitmann

Mehran Moradi Spitmann has a diverse work experience that spans from 2007 to 2022. Mehran currently works as a Senior Data Scientist at Scipher Medicine since April 2022. Prior to this, they were a Postdoctoral Associate at New York University from September 2021 to April 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Mehran was a Doctoral Student at Dartmouth College, focusing on studying choice under risk and uncertainty, as well as studying heterogeneity of learning plasticity and metaplasticity in neurons. Mehran also developed an analysis toolbox for measuring neural dynamics in large scale neural data. During their time at Dartmouth College, they also served as a Teaching Assistant for various courses.

Before their doctoral studies, Mehran was the Co-Founder of Grafficity, a role they held from 2016 to 2019. Mehran also worked as a Software Developer at Faraz Pardazesh Padisar (FPP) from September 2014 to December 2015. Additionally, Mehran gained experience as a Research Assistant, Lecturer, and Teaching Assistant at K. N. Toosi University of Technology from 2012 to 2015, where they assisted with various courses related to Soft Computing and Artificial Neural Networks.

Mehran started their career as a Team Leader and Freelance Software Developer at Azdaa Development Team from August 2007 to August 2010. Throughout their career, Mehran has gained expertise in various domains, including data science, neuroscience, teaching, software development, and game development.

Mehran Moradi Spitmaan completed their education with a chronological progression. Mehran began their academic journey in 2006 and graduated in 2010 from PNU, receiving a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Artificial Intelligence from K. N. Toosi University of Technology, which they completed between 2012 and 2014.

Continuing their educational pursuits, Mehran Moradi Spitmaan enrolled at Dartmouth College in 2016, where they focused on Computational Neuroscience. Mehran diligently worked towards achieving their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in this field, which they successfully obtained in 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Mehran Moradi Spitmaan also acquired several certifications. These certifications include "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," and "Structuring Machine Learning Projects." These certifications were obtained from the institution Coursera in September 2019.
