Erich Beyrent has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software development and technology. Erich started their career in 2000 as an Applications Specialist at CKP Newspaper Systems. Erich then worked as a Systems Administrator at Plymouth State University from 2004 to 2006. Following that, Erich served as the Director of Technology at ResortScope, LLC from 2006 to 2007. Erich then joined CommonPlaces e-Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Internet Engineer from 2007 to 2010.

In 2010, Erich joined Harvard University as a Senior Drupal Developer for a brief period of three months. Later that year, they became a Senior Developer at Family Education Network, Pearson Education, where they worked on software development for various platforms such as FamilyEducation.com, Teachervision.com, and Poptropica. Erich continued their role at FEN until 2015, with a short stint as a Senior Developer specifically for FEN from May to December 2015.
