Hugo MacHado de Castro

Hugo Machado de Castro is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Since November 2007, Hugo has held the position of Processes Engineering Coordinator at Scitech Produtos Médicos, leading a team of seven in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, equipment procurement or construction, and process modification. Previously, as a Process Engineer, Hugo focused on productivity enhancement and waste reduction through the implementation of Lean principles. Early career experience includes an engineering internship at CEB Distribuição, where analysis of quality-related occurrences and electrical damage claims was performed. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Control and Automation from Universidade de Brasília, an MBA in Quality Management and Production Engineering, an MBA in Industrial Management from IEL, and is pursuing an MBA in Investments and Asset Allocation at Faculdade Hub.
