Alexander Makowski

Alexander Makowski is a seasoned professional in product development and biomedical engineering, currently serving as Senior Product Development Manager at Sciton since February 2019. Prior roles include Chief Scientist/Product Developer at Pharma Authentics and Product Developer and Applications Scientist at Prozess Technologie, where Alexander designed analytical instruments and automated solutions. Previous experience also includes research positions at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Vanderbilt University, contributing to advancements in biophotonics and orthopaedic biomechanics. Alexander holds a Ph.D., MS, and BE in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, complemented by a strong publication record and multiple awards.
