Emily Sortevik

Emily Sortevik, PE, is a Project Engineer at SCJ Alliance since October 2022, with a robust background in engineering across multiple organizations. Previously, Emily held the position of Project Engineer I and Engineering Designer at Jacobs Driscoll Engineering, and served as a Junior Civil Engineer at BCA Architects & Engineers. Early career experience includes work as an Environmental Engineering Technician at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, and as an Engineering Associate at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, focusing on permit writing and best management practices. Additional roles include a Technical Analyst at Caterpillar Inc., Associate Faculty at Barton Community College, and various internships in technical and engineering capacities. Emily holds both a Master's of Business Administration in Global Supply Chain Management and Environmental Management, as well as a Master's of Engineering in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Focus, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, all from Clarkson University.
