David Weil

David Weil is the Chairman of SCM Insurance Services. Mr. Weil has more than two decades of experience working in information and business services companies. He founded and served as CEO of wisdom, the leading provider of interactive governance solutions for companies and investors, which he built in partnership with BlackRock until its sale to ISS. Previously, he was a Managing Director, Head of Information Services Banking, and Co-Head of Media Investment Banking at Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch where he advised large public companies on a range of strategic issues, mergers and contested situations. He started his career at Fidelity Investments. Mr. Weil serves as an industry advisor to Warburg Pincus, a Senior Advisor to the governance firm CamberView, and a host of the Fall Engagement Summit. Mr. Weil holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
