Rasheed Frazier, LMSW, is Vice President, Residential and Youth Justice Services and oversees a portfolio of programs that serve adolescents, young adults, and their families.
His residential portfolio includes Agency Operated Boarding Homes serving youth in foster care with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), who are pregnant or parenting, or identify as LGTBQ. His residential programs also include NYS Special Education Schools and Residential Treatment Facilities for youth developmental disability or dually-diagnosed with mental health and I/DD. He oversees supportive housing programs for young adults who are transitioning from Foster Care and/or struggling with mental health issues.
Rasheed’s Youth Justice portfolio includes evidence-based Juvenile Justice Initiative (JJI) preventive programs for court-involved youth struggling with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues, as well as our Close to Home program for adjudicated youth. He also oversees our programs on Rikers Island Correctional Facility, providing pre- and post-release services for young adults.
