Ida Wilson

Ida Wilson is a highly experienced specialist independent consultant in plant health, currently working with Private since February 2023 and as an Extraordinary Lecturer in Agronomy at Stellenbosch University since July 2021. Ida serves as Chair at Excellent Inspirations, focusing on raising awareness for a micro school, and as a Changemaker with SCOBY Collective, which aims to support social and environmental impact initiatives. Previous roles include Science Lead for Organic Products at Biorevolution and Consultant for Crop Health at Agrimotion Consulting, emphasizing best practices for crop protection. Ida Wilson has a rich research background, holding positions at ExperiCo Agri-Research Solutions and the Agricultural Research Council Small Grain Institute, managing multiple agricultural research projects, and contributing to advancements in plant pathology. With a PhD in Environmental Sciences/Plant Pathology from the University of Pretoria, along with multiple degrees in Microbiology, Ida Wilson combines academic achievement with practical expertise in agricultural and environmental sciences.
