Jose Mauricio has worked in the IT industry since 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a DataCenter Tech at Quasar Datacenter, where they monitored servers and ticketing systems, logged changes to the Datacenter, set up racks for customers, and built and configured new servers as needed. From 2012 to present, they have been a Systems Engineer at ScoNet, where they provide desktop support for Linn Energy, sets up and troubleshoots iPhones, installs and configures Mobile Iron, sets up and troubleshoots Polycom desk phones, uses the Remedy ticketing system to keep track of and resolve user issues, uses Active Directory to setup computer accounts and keep track of user equipment, assists users in setting up meetings and conference calls, troubleshoots desktop issues related to SCCM, repairs WMI, reinstalls SCCM clients, verifies updates are being pushed, and installs and troubleshoots software issues related to Enertia, Well View, and the local intranet site. Jose has also assisted in migrating users from Windows XP to Windows 7, restoring data and software.
Jose Mauricio obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from San Jacinto College from 2003 to 2006. In 2011, they obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco. In 2013, they obtained a MCSA Windows 7 certification from Microsoft. Jose also has a TS: Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Configuring certification from Microsoft.
