Anthony Hayford is a skilled educator and chemist with extensive experience in academia and research. Currently serving as a Science Educator at Scoot Education since February 2023 and holding multiple positions at the Los Angeles Community College District, including Professor and Associate Professor since 2016, Anthony has dedicated years to teaching and mentoring students. Prior to their academic roles, Anthony worked as a Senior Research Chemist at FlexSynthesis Inc from 2007 to 2016. Anthony holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Maryland, as well as a Master of Science in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
