Alex Nelson

Alex Nelson has extensive experience in legal and operational roles within the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Operating Officer at SCOR Digital Solutions since January 2018, Alex oversees strategy, policies, and execution, focusing on Solutions, Underwriting, HR, Operations, IT, and Legal Services. Previously, Alex held positions at SCOR Global Life Americas as Vice President & Associate General Counsel and Assistant Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, and at Transamerica Re as Assistant General Counsel. Early career experience includes roles as an Associate at Lovells and as an Investment Manager at Prudential Financial. Alex earned a JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a BA in English from Duke University.
