Brice Salence

Brice Salence serves as Chief Actuary and Head of Actuarial at SCOR since January 2016, where responsibilities include acting as Chief Pricing Actuary. Additionally, Brice has been the Chairperson of the Continuous Statistical Investigation Committee at the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA) since January 2023, overseeing the Critical Illness Subcommittee. Prior experience includes a tenure at Momentum from February 2007 to December 2015, holding the roles of Head of Insurance Pricing and Reinsurance and Actuarial Analyst. Academic qualifications include an Actuary degree from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, along with foundational education at Durban Girls' College.
