Masaya Arao

Masaya Arao has extensive experience in the reinsurance sector, currently serving as General Manager at SCOR since August 2020, having previously held the position of Deputy General Manager at the same company. Prior to this role, Masaya was Head of Japan at Axis Re from October 2018 to August 2020 and also held several positions at Swiss Re between 2007 and 2017, including Key Account Manager and Senior Property Underwriter. Masaya began a career with Swiss Reinsurance Company as Client Manager Vice President from 2009 to 2012, leading to roles that emphasize expertise in property underwriting and client management.
