Jason Merrill

Jason Merrill has an extensive work history in the field of design. Jason began their career as a Senior Graphic Designer at Acuity Brands from 2008 to 2010. Following that, they worked as a Senior UI Designer at DRIVE from 2011 to 2012. Jason then ventured into freelance design, working as a Freelance Designer from 2012 to 2015. Jason then joined Regal Medical Group as a Senior UX/UI Designer from 2015 to 2017, where they were responsible for marketing campaign designs and elevating the look and feel of the HealthEd magazine. Afterward, Jason joined Ubiquiti Networks as a UX/UI Designer from 2017 to 2020, where they created a design system and library of UI components. Currently, they are working at Scorpion as a Senior Product Designer since 2020, where they recently transitioned into the role of Director of Product Design in 2021.

Jason Merrill attended Orange Coast College in 1991, where they studied Art/Art Studies, General. Prior to that, in 1990, they completed a course in Advanced Art at Coastline College. Jason completed their high school education at Huntington Beach High School from 1987 to 1990.
