Michelle Annett has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Michelle started their career in 2010 as a Talent Wrangler at ABC Television. In the same year, they worked as a Producer - Live Graphics at Speed and as a Story Producer on "The Invested Life" at Generate. In 2011, they worked as an Associate Producer on "Best Ink" at Bunim Murray Productions and as a Story Producer for "The Amandas" at Pink Sneakers Productions. Michelle Annett also worked as a Story Producer at Forgotten Man Films and September Films in 2011. In 2012, they continued their work as a Story Producer at Pink Sneakers Productions and joined Fly on the Wall Entertainment in the same role. Michelle then joined Scorpion in 2013 as a Project Manager and later progressed to the role of Director of Project Management. In 2015, they became the Vice President of Creative Development at Scorpion and eventually became the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Creative Development in 2019.

Michelle Annett obtained an Associate's Degree in Transfer Studies from the College of the Canyons from 2002 to 2004. Michelle then went on to attend Chapman University from 2004 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Television and Broadcast Journalism. In addition to their formal education, Michelle has also obtained several certifications. Michelle completed "Mastering Digital Project Management" from The Digital Project Manager in April 2021, "Project Leadership" from LinkedIn in December 2020, and "Building a Coaching Culture: Improving Performance Through Timely Feedback" from LinkedIn in September 2020.
