Marco Maria Frare has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications in the hospitality industry. Marco Maria has held various leadership roles in renowned companies such as Scorpios, RAK Hospitality Holding LLC, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Palazzo Versace Dubai, TDIC, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), Armani Hotel Milano, Burj Al Arab, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., and W Hotels. From 2023, they are currently working as the Managing Director - Brand & Marketing at Scorpios. Prior to that, they served as the Group Director of Marketing & Communications at RAK Hospitality Holding LLC and the Director of Marketing & Communications at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. Throughout their career, they have successfully managed marketing and communication strategies and initiatives, especially during pre-opening stages, demonstrating their expertise and leadership skills in the industry.

Marco Maria Frare attended Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they studied Economia Aziendale with a focus on Marketing/Marketing Management. In 2002, they also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing and Tourism at Oxford Brookes University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marco holds certifications as a Sergeant Parachutist from the Italian Army and as a DIVEMASTER from PADI, obtained in 1996 and 1995, respectively.
