Joseph Payne

Joseph Payne serves as the President & COO of Scorpius BioManufacturing, Inc. since January 2024, overseeing comprehensive cGMP manufacturing and development services. Prior to this role, Joseph operated JEP Consultant Services, providing regulatory consulting in the pharma sector. Notable previous positions include Vice President of Quality & Compliance at Tergus Pharma and Vice President of Quality & Regulatory at Alcami Corporation. Joseph's extensive experience at Teva Pharmaceuticals includes managing operations for over 80 APIs and leading quality risk assessments. Joseph began a career in quality assurance and compliance at Barr Laboratories and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Hampden-Sydney College.
