Nicolas Paquet, PhD, is a seasoned scientist with extensive expertise in biochemistry and bioprocessing. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at Scorpius BioManufacturing, Inc. since October 2022, Nicolas previously held significant roles at UT Health San Antonio, where responsibilities included managing protein production and linking small-scale purification with high-throughput operations. At Luina Bio, leadership was demonstrated as Head of Production/Downstream Process, overseeing a team of 15 in biopharmaceutical production. Earlier experiences include postdoctoral positions at both Yale University School of Medicine and the Translational Research Institute/QUT, complemented by significant academic involvement as a Visiting Research Fellow. Nicolas's academic credentials include a PhD in Plant Physiology from Paris-Sud University and postdoctoral studies at Yale University, with foundational training in biology and genetics.
