Rob Harlan

Rob Harlan has had a diverse and accomplished work history. Rob is currently working as the IT Director and Information Security Officer at The Scot Forge Company, where they manage multiple initiatives including ERP rollout, wireless connectivity, and information security. Prior to this role, they held positions at Motorola Solutions, Motorola Inc., IBM Global Services, Deloitte Consulting, Grant Thornton, General Dynamics, and Newport News Shipbuilding, where they gained experience in IT leadership, mergers and acquisitions, eBusiness strategy, and project management. Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated the ability to lead large teams, drive revenue targets, and deliver significant cost savings and business improvements.

Rob Harlan earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering degree from Purdue University, where they studied from 1983 to 1988. Later, they attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they obtained an MBA with a focus on Finance between 1991 and 1993. In addition to their formal education, Rob Harlan also received certifications in Spanish fluency from Duolingo. Rob obtained intermediate fluency in May 2016 and advanced fluency in May 2015.
