Jeremy Deveney

Jeremy Deveney has over 18 years of experience in the gas industry, currently serving as the Director of Engineering & Network Strategy at SGN since June 2005. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing the Annual Maintenance Programme for mechanical and electrical activities related to high-pressure pipelines and pressure management systems. Previous positions at SGN include Head of Network Asset Management and General Manager of Maintenance Operations in Scotland, where Jeremy managed substantial infrastructure projects and ensured safe operations in Glasgow. Prior to SGN, Jeremy worked as an Emergency Operations Manager at National Grid Transco. Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has completed professional development at Hult Ashridge Executive Education.
