Luke MacDonald

Luke Macdonald is a seasoned professional in the engineering sector, currently serving as General Manager at SGN since August 2018, overseeing the Scottish Independent Undertakings (SIUs). Prior to this role, Luke held positions including Engineering Manager and Project Engineer at SGN and Mechanical Engineer at Babcock International Group. Luke's engineering career began with a Mechanical Engineering Internship at SGN during a Masters program at the University of Glasgow, alongside experience as a Harris Tweed Weaver and various roles in customer service. Luke holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Level 2 SVQ in Manufacturing Textile Products, complemented by a solid educational foundation from The Nicolson Institute.
