Tamar Watson

Tamar Watson is a seasoned professional in project management and programme assurance with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Lead PMO & IT Assurance at SGN since February 2016, Tamar leads approximately 30 programmes and projects, overseeing project and programme assurance for key IT and organizational initiatives and acting as the GDPR Owner for the IT & Innovation department. Prior experience at West Sussex County Council from October 2006 to January 2016 includes roles as PMO Manager, Senior Project Officer, Insight Analyst, and Programme Support Officer, where significant contributions encompassed managing diverse delivery programmes, financial oversight, risk management, and governance redesign. Tamar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Medicine from the University of Essex, obtained between 2002 and 2005.
