Chris Widdup is an experienced human resources and recruitment professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Director of Human Resources at Scotiabank since October 2015, Chris has held various roles including Senior Manager positions focused on Global Banking and Markets, as well as Director of Recruitment. Prior to Scotiabank, Chris spent over 13 years at RBC, holding multiple director-level roles in talent acquisition across various sectors, including Capital Markets, Technology & Operations, and Wealth Management. Chris began the recruitment career at Thinkpath, advancing from a Recruiter to Senior Recruiter/General Manager. Chris holds an Investment Funds in Canada Course from The Canadian Institute of Financial Planning and further education from Western University.
