Inci Akpinar

Inci Akpinar is a technology leader with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Canadian Banking Engineering at Scotiabank since June 2019. Previously, Inci held the position of Vice President for Canadian Bank Technology at Scotiabank. Inci's career at Scotiabank began in May 2007, progressing through roles such as Director of Wealth Management Technology Solutions and Senior Manager of Global Transaction Banking Online Solutions, along with being a Senior Project Leader for Scotia Online Brokerage. Prior to these roles, Inci served as Managing Director at Scotiabank Canadian Wealth Management from November 2017 to June 2019. Inci Akpinar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with Honors from the University of Toronto.
