Peter Heidinger has extensive experience in the banking and financial services industry, currently serving as CEO of Scotiabank Europe plc and Head of Global Banking and Markets for Europe since June 2015. Prior to this role, Heidinger held the position of Head of Global Banking and Markets for Asia Pacific at Scotiabank and served as Global Head of Financial Institutions at Standard Chartered Bank from June 2011 to May 2015. Peter gained significant experience at Citigroup from April 1998 to June 2011, where various positions included Managing Director and coverage for the Insurance and Funds sector in London. Additionally, Heidinger worked at RBC from September 1986 to April 1998 in various roles, including Economist and Loan Portfolio Management. Academically, Heidinger holds an MBA from Concordia University, a MA in Economics from Western University, and a BA in Economics from Bishop's University.
