Rebecca Staley

Rebecca Staley is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of Global Banking and Markets at Scotiabank, a position held since January 2016, where Rebecca has also contributed as the Director and Lead of the Office of the President & CEO and Director of the Office of the CEO, along with serving as Senior Manager of Executive Communications. Prior to her tenure at Scotiabank, Rebecca worked as a Speechwriter for the Office of the Prime Minister from September 2012 to November 2015 and as a Research Analyst at Global Public Affairs from September 2010 to August 2012. Rebecca began her career as a Teaching Assistant in the History Department at Trinity Western University and worked as a Legal Projects Coordinator at Research In Motion. Rebecca holds an Honours degree in History and Communications from Trinity Western University and has furthered education at the Laurentian Leadership Centre.
