Sherry Avadiev

Sherry Avadiev, OCT, currently serves as the Group Manager of Community Engagement at Scotiabank, where responsibilities include planning and executing various employee engagements and events with a focus on inclusivity and accessibility. Prior to this role, Sherry worked as an Adult Educator for the Toronto District School Board, teaching a diverse group of students in subjects ranging from ESL to social justice. Earlier experience includes teaching English and business courses at Tiferes Bais Yaakov, and serving as a Marketing Assistant at Revera Inc., where marketing and community outreach were key components of the role. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Education from York University and a certificate in Adult Education and Staff Training from Seneca Polytechnic, alongside a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from York University.
