Michael Olliff

Michael Olliff has a diverse work experience in the field of education design and business development. Michael is currently the Managing Director and Sector Champion for Education at Scott Brownrigg, where they lead the operational side of the business and supports offices in the UK and internationally. Michael has been in this role since October 2014. Prior to this, they held the position of Group Board Director at Scott Brownrigg, starting from September 2005.

Before joining Scott Brownrigg, Michael worked at CDH Pottinger, where they helped to set up an association with Scott Brownrigg, leading to success in winning larger education projects. Michael was a Partner at CDH Pottinger from September 2003 to September 2005.

Michael also has experience as a Director at FM Modern Design, where they were responsible for business development and successfully grew the fee turnover during their tenure from May 1997 to September 2003. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Architect at Ferguson McIlveen from September 1995 to May 1997.

Throughout their career, Michael has specialized in educational design, graduating with distinction in Diploma from the University of Portsmouth in 1990. Michael also has experience attending the University of Cincinnati and working in Boston.

Michael Olliff began their education in 1977 at Bishop Luffa, where they pursued their secondary education. From 1982 to 1984, they attended Chichester College, where they studied Architectural and Building Sciences/Technology. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Portsmouth from 1984 to 1987 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Architecture. In 1988, they attended the University of Cincinnati for a year to further their studies in Architecture. That same year, they also returned to the University of Portsmouth and completed a Diploma in Architecture in 1990. In terms of certifications, they acquired the title of Registered Architect from the Architects Registration Board; however, no specific information regarding the obtained date is available.
