Jacklyn Shofner currently serves as the Lieutenant Commander of the Investigations Division at Scott County Sheriff since December 2022, following a long tenure with Scott County Sheriff's Office that began in April 2006, where Jacklyn held positions as Detective Sergeant and Police Detective. As a Detective, Jacklyn focuses on investigating cases related to Domestic Violence, Stalking, Sexual Assault, and Crimes Against Children, while also contributing to the Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce since January 2021. Previously, from April 2006 to August 2016, Jacklyn worked as a Police Sergeant at the University of Louisville, supervising a patrol division. Jacklyn holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from the University of Louisville, achieved between 2015 and 2018, and also earned an earlier degree from the same institution from 2001 to 2005.
