Marsia Brancken

Marsia Brancken has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Marsia is currently the Head of Client Services (Private Sector) at Scott Logic, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Mastek as a Portfolio Director from November 2019 to June 2021 and as a Programme Director from March 2017 to October 2019. Marsia also has experience at Asda as a Senior Manager (Data Management & Analytics) from January 2016 to November 2016, a Senior Applications Development Team Manager from April 2015 to January 2016, and a Senior Project Manager (Contract) from October 2012 to March 2015. Marsia has also held roles at First Central Group as a Consultant (Contract) from November 2011 to September 2012, SSP (Worldwide) as an eBusiness Project Manager from December 2010 to November 2011, a Project Management Office role from April 2010 to December 2010, an Operations Manager role from September 2007 to April 2010, a Development Manager role from May 2004 to April 2010, and a Development Team Leader role from September 2002 to May 2004. Previously, Marsia worked at Prognos Ltd as a Database Application Support Analyst from September 2001 to July 2002, Maven Ltd as a Senior Programmer / Business Analyst from April 2000 to August 2001, and Maven Technologies as a Senior Programmer and Development Team Leader from September 1998 to March 2000. Marsia's early career includes roles at Guardian National Insurance as a Programmer from November 1996 to August 1998, and FC Smollans Group as an AS/400 Operator from November 1995 to October 1996.

Marsia Brancken obtained a B.Sc in Information Technology from the University of Johannesburg, which they attended from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Matric at Hoerskool Jeugland, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Marsia also holds additional certifications, including Scrum Master from The Knowledge Academy obtained in January 2017, and PRINCE2® 2015 Practitioner from APMG International obtained in July 2015.
