Thomas McLaughlan is a highly experienced software developer currently serving as a Senior Developer at Scott Logic since June 2019. Prior to this role, Thomas held positions at Push Technology Limited as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer from August 2013 to May 2019. Additionally, Thomas worked as a Mobile App Developer at the University of Oxford, contributing to the LHSee app for particle physics outreach. Thomas earned a PhD in Elementary Particle Physics from the University of Birmingham, where research focused on software for analyzing data from the ATLAS detector, with findings published in Physical Review Letters. Thomas also engaged as a demonstrator for programming languages and tools at the University of Birmingham. Thomas completed an MPhys in Physics at The University of Sheffield from 2005 to 2009.
